Ahoy Club Brings Melbourne F1’s Most Exclusive Superyacht Afterparty Together with Tequila Don Julio 1942

Australia’s largest commercial superyacht, MISCHIEF, will host Ahoy Club’s headline Melbourne F1 afterparty, bringing the glamour and exclusivity of the European circuit to the Southern Hemisphere, this year proudly partnered with luxury Don Julio 1942 Official Tequila Partner.

While the Grand Prix plays out at Albert Park, MISCHIEF transforms into an ultra-private floating venue throughout race week. Saturday night is the pinnacle: Ahoy Club’s signature afterparty, attracting an affluent guest list of founders, executives, celebrities and international visitors seeking a more elevated Formula 1 social experience.

The Melbourne edition builds on Ahoy Club’s established global F1 presence. Each year, the company activates in Monaco alongside McLaren for its flagship European F1 event, an experience that has become a defining part of its international calendar. Inspired by the energy and exclusivity of Monaco, Ahoy Club brought MISCHIEF to Melbourne for the first time last year, delivering the same world-class standard and atmosphere, reimagined for the Australian Grand Prix.

Following its debut success, MISCHIEF returns for race week 2026, once again setting the benchmark for luxury hospitality during the city’s biggest sporting weekend. Elevating that standard even further, Don Julio joins this year’s Melbourne F1 program as the Official Tequila Partner of the MISCHIEF Afterparty, aligning seamlessly with the premium positioning and international calibre of the weekend. As the city shifts from trackside adrenaline to late night celebration, Don Julio anchors Saturday night’s headline event with a curated cocktail experience designed to match the energy, glamour, and precision of Formula 1’s most electric evening.

The drinks program is led by “The Podium” 1942 Cocktail, a sparkling tribute to victory. Don Julio 1942 is carbonated with white vermouth, house lime cordial, and cacao husk distillate, served in a Coupetini over a single ice sphere. A salted lime cordial accompanies the caviar service to enhance and cleanse the palate. “Riviera” blends Don Julio Blanco with orgeat, coconut, cucumber, and lime, topped with soda and finished with a coconut salt rim. “Away We Go,” inspired by David Croft, combines Don Julio Reposado with cherry, amaretto, raspberry, and a hint of chilli, served on the rocks with a cream float.

The peak of the evening will arrive at sunset, marked by the 1942 mini toast moment at precisely 19:42, as the party reaches its height against the setting sun. “Monaco has long been our flagship Formula 1 experience, and bringing that same international standard to Melbourne is a natural extension of what we’ve built in Europe over the years,” said Ellie Malouf, CEO of Ahoy Club. “As an Australian brand, there’s something incredibly special about the season kicking off here and doing it with impact. Saturday night onboard MISCHIEF has quickly become one of the most exclusive invitations of race week, and partnering with Don Julio elevates that experience even further.”

Beyond the headline Saturday event, MISCHIEF is available for private hire across surrounding nights and mornings during race week. The superyacht has become one of Melbourne’s most sought-after floating venues for brand activations, sponsor events and premium corporate hosting.

Morning charters in particular have proven popular, with leading brands such as Airwallex and other synonymous global names hosting pre-race conferences, executive business talks and luxury breakfast experiences onboard before guests head trackside. Evening bookings are equally in demand for post-race celebrations and sponsor entertainment, offering an unmatched backdrop for networking and high-level client engagement.

With expansive decks, five-star hospitality and panoramic skyline views, MISCHIEF delivers an atmosphere that blends the intensity of Formula 1 with the refinement of a Monaco-calibre superyacht setting.

As Melbourne comes alive for the Australian Grand Prix, the most exclusive seat on Saturday night won’t be in the grandstands, it will be aboard MISCHIEF.
