Our Ahoy Approved Guide
Sicily boat charters give you the island from its best angle: the water.
The east coast runs between Taormina and the Aeolian Islands with Mount Etna rising behind it the entire way. Isola Bella sits just offshore, a protected marine reserve with limestone grottos and Ionian water clear to the bottom. Panarea is two hours north by private boat. Stromboli, an active volcano rising straight from the sea, is best seen from the water at dusk. Most people see Sicily from a hire car. This is the other version.
