Can I earn Qantas Points on boat hire?
Yes. Ahoy Days is part of the Ahoy Club partnership with Qantas Frequent Flyer, so members earn Qantas Points on boat bookings, day charters, boat charters and transfers booked through Ahoy Club, Ahoy Days or Floatspace. Add your Qantas Frequent Flyer details when you book and the points are credited after your charter.
How many Qantas Points will I earn on a boat booking?
Members earn 2 Qantas Points per A$1 spent on Australian bookings and 1 Qantas Point per A$1 equivalent spent on international bookings. Food and beverage packages added to a booking earn points at the same rates.
Which bookings earn Qantas Points?
Qantas Points are earned on boat bookings, day charters, boat charters and transfers made with Ahoy Club, Ahoy Days and Floatspace — in Australia and internationally.
How do I add my Qantas Frequent Flyer details?
Enter your Qantas Frequent Flyer number and last name during checkout. If you book over the phone, give your details to the booking agent. Details must be added at the time of booking.
How long does it take for Qantas Points to appear in my account?
Qantas Points are credited to your account within 14 days of completing your charter.
Can I pay for a charter with Qantas Points?
Yes. Members can use a minimum of 4,000 Qantas Points on a booking with Ahoy Club, Ahoy Days or Floatspace — covering the whole booking, or part of it with Points Plus Pay and the balance paid by an accepted payment method. To use points and pay a deposit on a booking more than 45 days out, contact the Ahoy Club team.
Is there a fee to join Qantas Frequent Flyer?
Qantas Frequent Flyer normally has a joining fee of A$99.50. Australian residents who aren't already members can join for free via our partner link.
What if I change or cancel my booking?
If a booking is cancelled prior to departure, points won't be earned. If a booking is amended, points are awarded on the final total value of the transaction.
*Earn points: To earn Qantas Points you must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member. Members will earn 2 Qantas Points per A$1 spent on Australian boat bookings, day charters, boat charters and transfers on Ahoy Club, Ahoy Days and Floatspace. Members will earn 1 Qantas Point per A$1 equivalent spent on international boat bookings, day charters, boat charters and transfers with Ahoy Club, Ahoy Days and Floatspace. Members will also earn Qantas Points (at the same respective rates) on food and beverage packages added to all bookings. For eligible bookings paid in foreign currency, Qantas Points are calculated based on the total booking price converted to Australian dollars using the exchange rate determined by Ahoy Club at the time of payment. Any Qantas Points displayed during the booking process are estimates only and are calculated using the exchange rate at the date of booking. To earn Qantas Points, a member must add their Qantas Frequent Flyer details to their booking at time of booking. Members won’t earn points if a booking is cancelled prior to departure. If a booking is amended, points will be awarded based on the final total value of the transaction.
Use points: To use Qantas Points on a booking, members must use a minimum of 4,000 Qantas Points and book the charter via Ahoy Club, Ahoy Days or Floatspace. You must provide your Qantas Frequent Flyer number at the point of booking. Alternatively, if you are making a booking over the phone after providing the Ahoy booking agent your Qantas Frequent Flyer number and surname. You will then be prompted to select how many Qantas Points you would like to use by clicking on the Qantas Frequent Flyer card in the Qantas App. A member can choose to use Qantas Points to cover the entire value of a booking product or, choose to use a portion of Qantas Points via Points Plus Pay, where the remaining balance can be paid using an accepted form of payment. Members who want to use Qantas Points to cover some or all of their booking total and want to pay a deposit when booking more than 45 days in advance, need to contact Ahoy Club.
