Citadelle Saint-Elme
A grand 16th-century fortress guarding the entrance to Villefranche's harbour, now housing the town's cultural centre and museums. Ramparts offer views across the entire rade.

A sheltered cove tucked into the darse (inner harbour) of Villefranche, accessible by tender. Calm and clear water, ideal as a base for exploring on foot.
