One of the most celebrated seaside restaurants in Italy, sitting right at the water's edge in Marina del Cantone. Arrive by tender and order the house speciality — spaghetti alla Nerano, the original recipe from this very bay using local zucchini and aged provola.

Tucked into a sheltered cove near Nerano, accessible only by boat. The restaurant and beach club has a pontoon for tenders, a small pebble beach, and breathtaking views across to the Li Galli islands — one of the most secluded stops on the coast.

The main anchorage for Nerano, a peaceful fishing village cove flanked by hills running down to the sea. One of the best-protected bays on this stretch of coast and an excellent lunch stop, with good restaurants a few steps from the shore.

The Emerald Grotto is set into the Amalfi cliffs and filled with a magical green light caused by sunlight refracting through an underwater window. The cave contains a submerged nativity scene at 3.5 metres depth, accessible by sea.

A remote pebble beach wedged between dramatic headlands near Punta Campanella, accessible only by boat. Completely unspoiled with no facilities and extraordinarily clear water — one of those places that feels entirely undiscovered.

A secluded cove just west of Amalfi town, reachable only by boat or a very long staircase. Far less crowded than Amalfi's main beach, with wonderfully clear water and a good anchor spot on any passage along the coast.
