Capri Day Charters
The Blue Grotto at first light. The Faraglioni at anchor. One full day with nowhere else to be.
Our Ahoy Approved Guide
Capri boat charters give you the island as it was meant to be experienced - from the water, at your own pace, with a captain who knows where to be and when. The Blue Grotto before the tour boats arrive. The Faraglioni close enough to touch. A long lunch anchored in a bay with no road in or out.
Popular Spots
Highlights
The spots worth reaching that only get to by sea.
Landmark
The Blue Grotto
A sea cave where sunlight entering through an underwater aperture refracts to create an otherworldly blue glow. Visitors transfer to small wooden rowing boats to enter through the low arch — best experienced in the morning before tour groups arrive.
Anchorage
The Faraglioni
Three towering limestone stacks rising from the sea off Capri's southern shore, the island's most iconic seascape. Drop anchor and swim through the natural arch of Faraglione di Mezzo — a Capri rite of passage. The rocks are home to a rare blue lizard found nowhere else on earth.
Dining
Marina Piccola
Capri's sheltered southern harbour, framed by the Faraglioni and Sirens' Rock. The waterfront is lined with restaurants including Torre Saracena, known for its seafood and dramatic coastal views. Small boats can moor in the harbour itself.
Swimming
Punta Carena
The westernmost tip of Capri, crowned by one of Italy's oldest working lighthouses. The surrounding rocks drop into some of the island's clearest water. Lido del Faro beach club sits below with a saltwater pool and sunset aperitivos.
Beach Club
La Fontelina
Capri's most coveted beach club, perched on rock platforms at the foot of the Faraglioni. Arrive by tender, settle in for a long lunch of grilled seafood and chilled wine. The views of the Faraglioni from the water's edge are unforgettable. Reserve well in advance.
Dining
Il Riccio
A Michelin-starred beach restaurant at Capri Palace Jumeirah, set right at the water's edge near the Blue Grotto. The wine cellar is carved directly into the cliff. Accessible by tender from the sea — the most theatrical lunch on the island.
Suggested Itineraries
The Blue Grotto Half Day
Depart Sorrento or Naples early. Blue Grotto on arrival while the light is right, a swim stop off the rocks, a slow drift along the Anacapri cliffs. Back by midday.
Full Island Circuit
Blue Grotto in the morning, clockwise past the Faraglioni, lunch anchored off Marina Piccola or at a waterfront restaurant by tender, afternoon swim at Punta Carena. Back before aperitivo.
Positano to Capri Full Day
Depart Positano, cross the bay to Capri, run the island circuit, return via the Li Galli islands with a late swim. Around 45 minutes each way.
Sunset Cruise
Evening cruise along the coastline as the light drops, depart late afternoon, back in port by dusk.
